As a Citizen of Arizona trying to run a business profitably and legally, a task that has become increasingly difficult. Rep. Pearce and the legislature finally got some laws on the book that thankfully Sheriff Arpaio & Andrew Thomas have been enforcing. Fortunately the voters were able to see through the last ballot attempt to rescind this.
I was personally offended when I heard of Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court Ruth McGregor's plans to pander to a Hispanic group's insistence that illegal aliens be further treated with kid gloves by the court system.
Adding insult was Cari Gershick who did her best at what was obviously damage control after the request by Los Abogados and the Chief Justices' response to it was made public. The outrage of the public continues to grow when our judicial system operates in this arrogant manner.

Los Abogados, the Hispanic Bar Association of Arizona, and Justice McGregor evidently do not comprehend one simple, basic, piece of legal vernacular. The term 'illegal' means just that; 'illegal'.
It doesn't matter what color your skin is. Illegal means 'against the law'. There is nothing 'legalese' or hidden about the term. It's not that complicated. The only people that want to complicate the term 'illegal' are Los Abogados and Justice McGregor.
Los Abogados has only the interest of one race in mind, that being the Mexican or 'Hispanic' race. In my opinion, that is called racism. Let me put it to Los Abogados and Justice McGregor in very simple, layman terms: Los Abogados is a racist organization that encourages Mexicans to break the laws of the United States and Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Ruth McGregor is a Judge that wants to let Mexicans do that.

I'm outraged at your attempt to silence free speech and once again pander to illegal aliens. It's judges like you who have aided and abetted the invasion of over 21.8 million illegal aliens into the U.S. Check for yourself at www.immigrationcounters.com. It's my guess that you have not read even one book about the damage done to our economy, education, medical, etc. Taxpayers are hosed for over $335 billion annually. On average 25 citizens are killed daily by illegal aliens, far more than are killed in combat in Iraq. Diseases have been reintroduced that were stamped out years ago.
We will not be silenced and we will call them what they are--illegal aliens, intruders, law-breakers, felons, murderers, rapists. They all fit.

The official designated name of a person who is unlawfully present in the U.S. by the Department of Homeland Security, is "illegal alien." Any attempt to use any other term such as "undocumented worker" in place of the official term is clearly an attempt to make vague the description of an illegal alien.

American citizens already lack faith in the integrity of our judicial system, largely due to legislation by judicial diktat and political correctness measures that infringe on the rights of all citizens. Citizens must trust that justice will be impartially served and Constitutional rights will be protected. Political correctness must stop; it erodes the very foundation of the First Amendment by censoring truth. Please put a stop to this kind of behavior and restore the integrity and honor our judicial system requires in order to function as intended.

Justice McGregor’s acquiescence to Los Abogados’ blatant attempt to circumvent legally recognized procedures is at best fundamentally abysmal, if not an unabashed travesty! If she is incapable of clearly understanding her responsibilities, and acting accordingly, in her current role, then she clearly should not be allowed to remain in her current role, or any other judicial appointment.

As a Citizen of Arizona trying to run a business profitably and legally, a task that has become increasingly difficult. Rep. Pearce and the legislature finally got some laws on the book that thankfully Sheriff Arpaio & Andrew Thomas have been enforcing. Fortunately the voters were able to see through the last ballot attempt to rescind this.
I was personally offended when I heard of Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court Ruth McGregor's plans to pander to a Hispanic group's insistence that illegal aliens be further treated with kid gloves by the court system.
Adding insult was Cari Gershick who did her best at what was obviously damage control after the request by Los Abogados and the Chief Justices' response to it was made public. The outrage of the public continues to grow when our judicial system operates in this arrogant manner.

Your Honor, I hope that you have no inclination to consider Los Abogados' request as to how our court system should be modified to suit their desires. The term "illegal alien" and associated phrases (as you well know), are in strict compliance with our immigration laws and not intended to be derogatory, but rather, specifically descriptive. To even entertain this request only empowers a group of people who have little respect for our laws and encourage civil disobedience. I am joining this effort to educate this liberal judge that Political Correctness is not acceptable under any law, certainly not the Arizona Constitution nor the United States Constitution. Her job is to read the laws correctly and abide by them, not make up her own version of same.
Illegal alien is just that....a person or persons in the United States who are here without the benefit of legal means. Mexico and other countries would never treat nor see their country as inconsequentially as this sorry judge does. Sovereignty carries with it the mandate that laws will be obeyed; being Politically Correct is most inappropriate.

Words have meaning, you as an officer of the court, no doubt know. Words have very specific meanings. Illegal means prohibited by law. Alien means a resident born in or belonging to another country who has not acquired citizenship by naturalization (distinguished from citizen).
Now what part of those definitions do you not understand? Illegal Alien is very specific, and is non-gender, non-cultural, non-race, non-country of origin specific. Never mind the hurt feelings, those who are illegal aliens are ILLEGAL [prohibited by law]. With respect for your position…

Justice McGregor should resign for circulating the letter from Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association urging the banning of terms as innocuous as "illegal immigrant" or "alien" in court documents as hate speech. Good grief, what's next? Will it please the court to ban "mama" because it's a slur in the phrase "Yo mama!"?
The people of Arizona would be better served if our courts decided matters of justice rather than banning certain words as "hate speech."
The defense by the Arizona Supreme Court's spokesperson, that Justice McGregor's letter was nonbinding, will not wash. Would the good justice have circulated a letter from an imperial wizard of the Ku Klux Klan as a "nonbinding" notice to the courts of the state?

Justice McGregor would be of more service by leaving the political correctness up to the politicians and focus on upholding the Constitution instead.
Come to think of it, she would be of more public service still by resigning. Her pandering to illegal immigrants already indicates that she is incompetent.
